Personalised to your sector

The five growth drivers are universal. Where you leak is not.

A dental practice loses revenue in different places than an e-commerce brand or a plumbing firm. AscendX keeps the same rigorous model, but the examples, the likely leaks and the benchmarks you see adapt to the sector you're actually in.

Same model, your language. The strategy is universal; the specifics are yours.

Pick your sector

Choose the closest fit. See where businesses like yours most often leak growth first.

Usually leaks first · hypothesis

Enquiries that go cold before anyone follows up, and being invisible when a buyer asks ChatGPT for a recommendation.

How personalisation works

One model, spoken in your language.

You tell us your sector once. From that point, the assessment stops talking in the abstract and starts talking about your world: the enquiries, the follow-up habits, the repeat cycles and the referral patterns that actually apply to a business like yours.

Examples adapt

You see your world, not a generic one

A "cold enquiry" means a missed callback for a trades firm and an abandoned basket for a retailer. The assessment uses the version that fits you.

Challenges adapt

The likely leaks are sector-aware

We start from where businesses like yours typically lose revenue, then confirm which of those apply to you specifically, with evidence.

Benchmarks adapt

Context, not a vanity number

Your Revenue Growth Score™ is framed against the kind of business you run, so "good" means good for your sector, not in the abstract.

Personalisation changes the framing and the priorities, never the honesty. We still separate what we've confirmed from what we've inferred, and we still show you the reasoning behind every recommendation.

Example sectors

The leaks below are framed as hypotheses: common patterns we'd look for, not measured facts about your business. Your assessment confirms which ones are real for you, and which aren't.

On benchmarks, plainly

Illustrative frameworks, until the real data exists.

A benchmark is only useful if it's honest. Pre-launch, AscendX has no proprietary dataset of sector results, so we won't pretend to one. Any sector figure you see today is an illustrative framework: a way of showing how comparison will work, not a measured average.

As real, consented client data accumulates, benchmarks will be built from it and clearly labelled as such. Your own score, by contrast, is always calculated from evidence about your business, never estimated to make a point.

How the score is built
What you will get
  • Your real Revenue Growth Score™, from evidence
  • A sector-aware view of your likely leaks
  • Priorities ordered by impact, with reasoning
What you won't get
  • Invented averages dressed up as real
  • Guarantees of a specific result
  • A number with no evidence behind it
The constant

Whatever your sector, growth comes from the same five drivers.

Personalisation changes where we look and what we call things. It never changes the underlying model, because there are still only five ways to grow a business.

More customers

Higher conversion

Higher average sale

More repeat business

More referrals

Questions

What owners ask about sector fit.

Do you only work with the sectors listed?
No, those are examples. The model applies to any business with customers, enquiries and repeat potential. If your sector isn't shown, the assessment still adapts its examples and priorities to how your business actually works.
Are the "typical leaks" facts about my business?
No. They're clearly labelled hypotheses: common patterns we'd investigate for a business of that type. Your assessment confirms which are real for you, with evidence, and discards the ones that aren't.
Where do your sector benchmarks come from?
Pre-launch, any sector figure is an illustrative framework showing how comparison will work, not a measured average. As consented client data accumulates, benchmarks will be built from it and labelled as real. Your own score is always calculated from your evidence.
How specific does the personalisation get?
Specific enough to be useful: the language, examples and priority order reflect your sector. The underlying rigour and the five-driver model stay constant, so you get relevance without losing honesty.
What if my business spans several sectors?
That's common, and it's fine. We start from the closest fit, then tailor to how you actually operate during the strategy session. The model doesn't break when a business doesn't fit a neat box.
